Golf is important to Delaware, with its many public and private courses. The Memorial Tournament is an annual event held at the Muirfield Village Golf Club just minutes away in Dublin.
Delaware offers many other attractions, such as the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, Wyandot Lake, Perkins Observatory, and the Olentangy Indian Caverns.
The cultural arts are well-represented by the Delaware County Cultural Arts Center the Central Ohio Symphony Orchestra, the Delaware Community Chorus, Silver Phoenix Theatre Company and the Strand Theatre, along with the offerings of Ohio Wesleyan University.
A variety of churches of many denominations are spread throughout Delaware.
History can be seen downtown and throughout the area in the carefully preserved homes, and in the character and charm of the bustling downtown area.
